As the Cyber & Infrastructure Lead, you will oversee the cybersecurity and infrastructure operations within our organisation. Your role is crucial in ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of all IT systems and infrastructure, aligning with our strategic goals and regulatory requirements. Your key responsibilities will be to ensure:

  •  Security Assessments and Incident Response: Conduct regular security assessments and ensure prompt response to security incidents
  •  Threat Intelligence and Staff Awareness: Stay updated on cybersecurity threats and enhance staff awareness through training programs
  •  Infrastructure Oversight: Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organisation’s IT infrastructure
  •  Project Management: Plan and execute IT Cyber & Infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion
  •  Governance and Business Continuity: Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans

To be successful in this role you will need to possess the following attributes:

  •  Analytical thinking: You need to be able to analyse complex security issues, assess risks, identify vulnerabilities, and implement appropriate measures to mitigate them
  •  Leadership skills: You should be able to inspire and motivate, as well as work effectively with others to achieve common goals
  •  Adaptability: The cybersecurity landscape is constantly evolving, so being adaptable and open to learning new technologies and strategies is important
  •  Communication: You should be able to explain security concepts clearly and enhance awareness and convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  •  Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail is important for identifying potential security threats and ensuring the integrity and reliability of the IT infrastructure

Experience and Qualifications:

  •  Proven experience in cybersecurity and IT infrastructure management
  •  Strong understanding of cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices
  •  Excellent project management and leadership skills
  • Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and manage resources effectively
